First Holy Communion at Keorapukur
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION AT ST. ANTHONY’S CHURCH, LALPOLE
On 15th
January, 2023 parish children received their First Holy Communion in Bengali
and English Masses at St. Anthony’s Church, Lalpole. The First Holy Communicants together with the
Parish Priest, Frs. Jonas and Sandip were taken to the Alter by entrance dance
by the parish children. The Church was packed with parents and relatives of the
FH Communicants.
The First
and Second Reading as well as the Prayer of the Faithful were read by the FH
Communicants themselves. The Choir sang
melodiously both in Hindi and English. All the Children were beautifully
dressed in white the sign of purity to receive Jesus for the first time.
After the
final blessing all the FH Communicants received their Certificates and sweet
packets. Group photographs were
taken.
