History:
Gosaba had been part of Basanti parish until it was detached from it. It was erected into the status of a parish in 1993. The church was badly damaged due to dampness. The church was renovated and blessed by Most Rev. Shyamal Bose, then Coadjutor of Baruipur in 2019.
