A Joyous Jubilee Celebration at Panchamkhanda Parish

Panchamkhanda Parish celebrated the jubilees of five women and one man for their lifelong service to God: Sr. Minati (Golden Jubilee), Sr. Suprabha (Ruby Jubilee), Sr. Theola (Coral Jubilee), Sr. Babita (Tin Jubilee), and Fr. Saumen Malik (Tin Jubilee). Sr. Rinku, SCC, was also congratulated for her recent Perpetual Profession on 30^th December, 2024. Rev. Fr. Sarajit Das welcomed everyone, and the Eucharistic celebration, led by Bishop Shyamal Bose and 12 concelebrants, was the highlight. In his homily, Bishop Bose emphasized the importance of trusting and courageously answering God’s call.

The celebration featured a cultural program with dances and a powerful testimony from Sr. Theola about her life-threatening experience. Bishop Bose encouraged prayers for vocations and commended the jubilarians. The day concluded with a community meal, fostering fellowship and gratitude.
