Christmas Gathering for BEC Members & Sunday School Children

Dishari Pastoral Centre successfully organized a series of enriching programs throughout January 2025, focusing on community engagement, spiritual growth and faith formation.The month began with two Christmas get-togethers, held on January 04 & 05, forBEC members and Sunday School children. These joyous events were graced by Most Rev. Shyamal Bose, who presided over the Holy Eucharistic celebrations and delivered inspiring messages to the attendees. Most Rev. Salvadore Lobe, Bishop Emeritus, also honoured the gatherings with his presence. In addition to the Holy Eucharist, the events featured a skit and carol competition, which added to the festive atmosphere. A total of 767 participants actively took part in these celebrations and the joy and happiness of Christmas was evident on every face.

Following the Christmas events, Dishari continued its commitment to faith formation by organizing two seminars on BEC. The first seminar was held on January 19, 2025 at Dosh Nomber and the second took place on January 27, 2025 at Lakhikantapur. Additionally, a faith formation program was held on January 30, 2025 at Bibirchak. These seminars and programs attracted 356 participants, all eager to learn and deepen their understanding of the faith. Fr. Goutam Naskar, Fr. Bablu Sardar, Fr. Deepak Ekka, and Fr. Aloke Kanji served as resource persons for these events, providing valuable insights and guidance.

The participants displayed a strong interest in promoting BEC in their local communities and expressed a deep commitment to actively spreading the Good News to others. Their enthusiasm and dedication were a testament to the growing spirit of faith and collaboration within Dishari Pastoral Centre.
