Confirmation at Rajarampur

Infant Jesus' Church, Rajarampur, a substation of Thakurpukur Parish, witnessed the conferring of the Sacrament of Holy Confirmation to 31 candidates on the Feast Day of Holy Trinity on May 26, 2024 by our Bishop Most Rev. Shyamal Bose. Along with the Bishop, Fr. Santhanam J. A. Parish Priest and Fr. Arulappan Rayappan SJ concelebrated the Holy Mass.

Before the Mass Bishop was received warmly and led to the Church with procession and kirtan by the choir and the faithful of the village. At the entrance of the Church Bishop himself rang the new church bell. The Holy Mass was started by an entrance dance by youth. In his homily, Bishop highlighted the love and communion that exists between the three persons of the Holy Trinity and the invitation to every human being to become part of the Trinitarian community.

After the Mass there was a short Felicitation program where Bishop, Fathers and Sisters were felicitated. The candidates were congratulated and presented with the certificates and picture of Divine Mercy.
