Installation of Fr. Habil Minj, SFX

The date of July 14, 2024 will hold a special significance in the history of Infant Jesus Church, Gangarampur, as it marked the installation day of the new Parish Priest, Fr. Habil Minj SFX. He is widely revered by the residents of Boys' Town, known for his previous service and magnificent leadership at the Parish from 2003 to 2006.

The installation ceremony was meticulously organized by the Parish youth group and was attended by a large number of parishioners. The guest of honour and main celebrant for the Mass was Bishop Shyamal Bose, who delivered a moving sermon and shared valuable advice during the service.

Following the Mass, a brief cultural program was held in honour of the Bishop and Fr. Habil Minj. The event featured performances of songs and dances by members of the Parish youth and catechism children.
